Position Overview
The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for managing day-to-day field operations across multiple projects. This individual will coordinate subcontractors, monitor schedules, maintain quality standards, and serve as the primary field representative of White Oak Outdoors.
The Superintendent will work closely with ownership, project management, clients, vendors, inspectors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution from groundbreaking through final completion.
Core Responsibilities
● Oversee multiple active construction projects simultaneously
● Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and labor crews
● Maintain project schedules and proactively identify delays
● Conduct daily jobsite inspections to ensure quality and productivity
● Review plans, specifications, and construction details before work begins
● Coordinate deliveries, equipment, inspections, and subcontractor schedules
● Ensure projects are built according to approved plans and company standards
● Document daily progress with photos, notes, and updates
● Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites
● Maintain a positive customer experience throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
● 5+ years of construction superintendent, foreman, or project leadership experience
● Strong understanding of residential construction practices
● Ability to read construction plans and specifications
● Experience managing subcontractors and multiple concurrent projects
● Excellent communication and leadership skills
● Valid driver's license and clean driving record
● Experience in outdoor living, pools, landscaping, hardscaping, or residential construction
● Experience with construction management platforms (Buildertrend, Procore, ProDBX, etc.) is a plus
Compensation
● $60,000–$75,000 salary depending on experience and work history
