experienced Operations Manager to oversee the operational infrastructure that supports our projects
and field team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, systems, and process improvement, and who
enjoys being at the center of multiple projects ensuring everything moves forward efficiently.
Position Overview
The Operations Manager will oversee critical pre-construction and operational workflows including
estimate review, procurement, permitting, subcontractor bidding, and project documentation. This
individual will play a key role in ensuring projects are properly prepared before construction begins and
that operational systems remain organized and scalable.
You will work directly with ownership and project leadership to help drive operational efficiency across
the company.
Core Responsibilities
● Review construction estimates and material take-offs to ensure accuracy and completeness
● Coordinate procurement of project materials and equipment
● Manage permitting processes and Architectural Review Committee (ARC) approvals
● Distribute construction plans to subcontractors and vendors for competitive bidding
● Track and organize subcontractor proposals and purchase orders (POs)
● Maintain and update company-wide construction management software
● Ensure project documentation, schedules, and files remain organized and current
● Support process improvement and operational efficiency as the company grows
● Coordinate closely with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to keep projects moving
forward
Qualifications
● 5+ years experience in construction operations, project coordination, or project management
● Strong understanding of construction drawings, estimates, and material take-offs
● Experience coordinating subcontractors and procurement
● Familiarity with permitting and residential construction approval processes preferred
● Experience with construction management platforms (Buildertrend, Procore, ProDBX, etc.) is a
plus
● Highly organized with strong attention to detail
● Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
● Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Compensation
● $80,000 – $120,000 salary depending on experience
● Performance-based bonus opportunities expected to exceed $30,000 - $50,000 in first year
